Project One is a community that cultivates academic identity for first-year students at the Georgia Institute of Technology. The community is made up of students, peer mentors, faculty, staff, and alumni, all working together to facilitate the academic self-discovery of Georgia Tech's first-year students. For 2015-2016, the theme for Project One is "Serve.Learn.Sustain." In keeping with this theme, Edward Humes's Garbology: Our Dirty Love Affair with Trash has been selected as the common reading. Stay tuned for information about upcoming events and opportunities to participate in campus-wide projects centered around Garbology.
